    HH 2

Friday and Saturday I got a chance to run on the HH2. I was using kernmaster with the 9.3 epicord. Night and day compared to the old HH. Tends easier and more compact. I think my opinion is swayed because of the rope and cord combo. I'd recommend trying it.

    Gear transport to job site?

I have a friend who works at a college. Every spring the yuppy students leave / throw out all kinds of stuff.... including suitcases and duffle bags.

    HH 2

I just started using the km3. To early to voice a strong opinion....and yes it is heavy. I haven't burnt my hand yet though, unlike the daily scorching with moon or velocity. Yay!

    HH 2

I've been working on blue moon w 8mm hrc for about two years. works great for my style. Just tried out 9.3 epicord on sat, and it seemed to work ok. But the big surprise came from 1/2 inch km3 and 10mm ocean. Huge difference while climbing. The 1/2 in line is a bit heavy to pull around but...

    The elderly these days

That is awesome....I had a older woman (65+) out on her porch roof the other day sweeping off the small debris before the tree was completely down. She had crawled out a window. I think I broke her heart when I told her not to worry about it, that I planned to clean it off.

    Climbers for Christ

That vid gets me going no matter what mood I'm in. Reminds me how lucky I am to live and work in a country where I'm not persecuted for my faith. It also reminds me that the Freedom we have is paid for with a price. It makes me want to work harder knowing that millions of people hate there...

    Climbers for Christ

True Dat! I agree completely. But we can't judge the system by it's failures. If the unbeliever's logic holds true......Christianity is bogus because all Christians are racists, hypocrites, and narrow minded. But the Gospel teaches none of this....It's the failure of the man. Example: The...

    Climbers for Christ

We can't explain everything away, eventually we'll have to explain away the explanation itself. A wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To see through all things is the same as not seeing. C.S. Lewis

    Climbers for Christ

If the "ancient superstition" you're referring to is the one in which people actively love there fellow man, solve problems with peace, give to the needy, and try to live there life in accordance with Jesus' teachings......then I'm not sure how the world could be better off without Christ, or...

    Compact Bulldog Bone

It's nice to work with Tyler at cvts, when we practice rescue, all we have to do is bring down a "My Buddy and Me"

quick connect dog bone for HH

Not sure if this has been discussed yet but has the idea of an attachment point for drt been discussed? ie, on the back of the device near the cooling fins. This could be called the "aarfatchment point"!

    Climbers for Christ

This is awesome! I figured a thread like this would catch on fire but I certainly didn't think it'd be 9 pages worth. This thread fits right in with the book and class I'm working through (apologetics). Awesome questions and thought provoking answers, just the fuel for study. I've studied...

    basal anchor safety

I like the idea. I also read MS's article. I like it, nice work! Wouldn't a canopy anchor that uses a knot jammed into the small ring be pretty much the same? I'm just wondering what the advantage of a base tie that is not lowerable? Lack of a need to isolate the tip?

    Climbers for Christ

Guess I was overwhelmed with all the responses, questions, and answers......Yes I'm not perfect. Not even close. I do not have all the answers nor do I claim to. I must keep reminding myself that I'm new to this....spreading the Gospel. This thread has only taught me that I need to study more...

    Climbers for Christ

Really people...I just got off the phone with a friend of mine, and mentioned this thread to him. I said how interesting it was to finally hear people (believers and non-believers) have interesting conversations about Christ.....once again this thread was not intended to prove the existence or...
