The same thing happened to my kask. I drilled 2 holes either side of the broken harness adjuster thingy and zip tied it. Worked in a pinch for 6 months until i replaced it with another helmet.
Do you go a neck or chest tether in that setup. I just made a neck tether but I'm not sure if I like it. Haven't tried a chest harness because I like to keep my gear I take into the tree low.
