To clarify any rumors, I don't work at a Mac store. I used to develop software for the platform as my main bread and butter.
Quickbooks is what I know off hand. I'll post to my developer buddies-- they've got stuff that would interact with their iPhones, etc.
Get the lightweight hose "tail". Its really expensive but I've heard it makes the tool more manageable, since you don't have to hold up that last 5 feet of air hose.
Re: ascender descender for RADS ($$$ in NZ)
Good to see your interest in using the RADS system.
There are two other recently active threads that list out the mechanical options.
Is that maybe because of the NZ distributors or the currency exchange? Aug 8, 2008: 1.00 USD = 1.42602 NZD
First thing I saw when looking at the artwork was maybe he was a Jeff Beck clone. No, but probably traveled in close circles with him.

Don't know what you mean, a little "longer". You want the gates of hell breaking open or a drive through the country at 114mph?

A magnum opus. 68 minutes studio version, 75 minutes in concert. Long enough?

Thanks Tim,
Looking forward for some reading.
And now for a poetic interlude:
I'm not a lumberjack
And I'm not okay
I 'Buzz all night
And cut down 8' stems all day
I set high ropes, have a harness and helmet
I put on arborist's clothing
And hang around in trees.
Come on now, join in for the...

NINJA SQUIRREL!
I'm interested in one of those bad boys. Breed pair would be better. No need for any overhead, just catch, drive the 5 hours to the center of campus, and release. I'll pay ya for the 55-gallon drum containment vessel, and Hydrocodone and/or wiskey for sedation.
Talking...

On SRT, You'll be pulling 1' of rope for every 1' gain of height through your ascender. You'll be pulling 2' through the pulley, approximately an arm length.
On DdRT, twice as much rope, indeed.
I really don't consider the arm handling the tail of the rope to do much more than balancing...
You're not alone. We have a back-to-school sweep where I remove the golden spires where the squirrels have gnawed. It really throws a ringer in some of the corrective pruining I've done.
To top that, we have a feral cat program where the felines are fed and watered. The areas on campus where...
Depends upon how you work and what you're going to be doing. That would lead to the question what is the employer hiring? What are you interested in investing in them and them in you?
Having a CA cert doesn't mean you practice it. Or spending some time in college. Not to poo all over your...
What I had for breakfast this morning? In the 60's it was first milk and then cereal and milk. Now its surreal and bran muffin.
I could be out on a limb.

Tom dressed his out better: Leave the ends an inch or so longer, push back the polyester sheath and cut the Technora core fibers at desired length, pull back the sheath and melt to just beyond the core.
I opted for Technora pom-poms.
Kev, as Tom said above. I can see the tether to the top biner as being much safer in the grand scheme of things.
It took 18 'pulls' to go somewhere around 30 feet, so I figure about 14" per pull.
I use the Eddy for work positioning. I'll rarely leave the ascender system on the rope, but only...
