    Anyone on a mechanical should be familiar with the munter in my opinion, it’s a no nonsense fool proof way to get down in case the device fails or slips either from failure or weather conditions (I had a zigzag start slipping from ice building on the line).

    outside of the comp advantages, this would allow for the potential of an aerial rescue to be performed from the ground in certain situations.

    The pinto on prussic takes away the problem of gate orientation in relation to the tree and potential for side load at working angles. As long as you’re mindful of the gate on the revolver and your end rope angles I would run it.

    We used a skid steer which we usually used an augur to dig the initial hole and then swapped to forks with load straps to lift and place into the hole and also allow for root inspection/pruning.
