    How much force to pull two 12"dbh pine trees towards each other sixty feet up?

    Would it be possible to just pull the hanging limbs back to the tree the broke from using a grcs or a combination of rope puller and porta wrap so you can pull and lower them once free.

    I run out of fuel (5 gallons) once a month or less most of the time so it's not an issue.

    Did 2 of the 3 leaders on this oak got to the top of the third and backed out, the trees on this property were pretty messed up the uphill side of the third was very scared I think gaffing in its past plus sun damage and fungus are likely I got to the top of it and decided to back out of it...

    I don't use cheap oil but I definitely don't see justifying the cost of the high end premix fuels if you cut very much at all.

    Amsoil is great super clean burning, I can't smell my saws or other equipment using it at all, one of the guys I work with uses a castor oil that stuff is terrible it stinks bad. I run premium gas but being in ca it has ethanol I have never had it cause any issues in any of my small equipment...

    I use my 540ixp for removals all the time cuts almost as fast as my 201tc about the same as my 193T, not having to start it or the noise is great. I typically just switch to a 261 once I'm out of my 540ixp's comfort zone.

    I've got a 95xp we use it all the time even with just the 37hp kohler it chips well as long as you keep the knives sharp and learn how much to stuff into it at once it'll eat brush as fast as 2 guys can comfortably load it. For me there wouldn't be a huge improvement in going to a 12" chipper...

    We did a 10 yesterday it was pretty easy though, climbing a couple decent sized oaks the first one didn't have much brush and I had to opt out of finishing the 3rd leader it was pretty bad going up but the top was real bad looking and only 5-6" and I would've had to climb pretty far up and...

    I don't really agree with this if I go out and do a tree solo I load up at 730 home and unloaded at 1 I worked 5.5 hours the fact that I climbed and did some cleanup and brush chipping doesn't masks it ten.
