    Mystery problem cutting?

The bar rails themselves can splay open in time with heavy use. A bar rail closer might be the ticket.

    Storing a branch manager

I have a 12” auger that I do the occasional footing for deck builds, I’ve got a few buddies in the construction biz. And use it for one gallon installs. It’s nice when the custy wants a green fence but doesn’t want to pay for bigger stock. IMO if you have it you’ll find a reason to use it. A 24”...

    Storing a branch manager

I presume you are talking about planting? Lately I just run with the drive and auger on the machine and bucket and forks in the back of the truck. They are easier to chain down than the auger/drive. But I suppose if I were going to do storage I would use a heavy walled pipe/tube, of close...

    Storing a branch manager

I keep the scoops on as much as possible so unhooking is super easy. And I just balance it upright when the scoops aren’t on, no kids to worry about, and the grapple almost closed up tight but still a little wiggle room for easier hydro hook up.

    Anybody use Castellari Pole Saw

You know that plastic sleeve at the end is the same inner diameter as a normal Jameson pole coupler.

    Anybody use Castellari Pole Saw

I have a carbon pole I love it accept I need to glue the locking sleeves in place. It’s stupid light at 20’ and the same weight as the 13’ Zubat polesaw.

    basic noob trailer plug question

Me personally I’d go the 7 way RV plug on the truck. The adapter to go from 7 to 6 is much cleaner than the 6 to 7 adapter.

    Mini skid idler bearing removal

Another tip is to leave the castle nut lightly threaded on so it won’t go shooting across the shop floor.

    Mini skid idler bearing removal

Bearing puller, except it will be pushing on the shaft. Load up the puller good and tight and heat the housing and listen for banging, creeping, and popping then load up more pressure and reheat. I’m guessing it will need some good heat as it’s thick steel. Oxy:acetylene rosebud is your best bet...

    Mini skid idler bearing removal

Plus getting the new bearings and seals and looking at them might give you a clue as to how they come apart and go back in.

But relooking at your pics why is that metal disc split? Is there a special tool needed? Like an ultra duty snap ring pliers or something?

    Mini skid idler bearing removal

I’d probable destroy the rest of the bearing just leaving the outer race still stuck in the undercarriage. Then run a hot weld bead on the inside of the race heat shrinking it and it should come out easily with a punch and some tapping, not smashing, just a little happy tappy tap taps. I’ve...

    Safety Incentive Program

Personally if there was a crew member or members that regularly damaged shit they wouldn’t be around very long. IMO regular damage is just plain carelessness and a red flag for something worse. Now I know accidents happen in this business, it’s just the law of averages. But something gets...
