Yeah, what exactly are you testing? Some kind of new clutch no chipper has ever seen before? And how can I convince them Canadian trees are different and they need to give me a 20" chipper for 6 months or so? Or maybe 6 years?
I totally agree, just make sure you're doing it very carefully, keep the log only a few inches off the ground while you're moving it. You don't want to have to call in a crane service to right yours before it's even made a dime.
We don't have many concrete driveways around here, most are asphalt and there are some really crappy ones, we have started getting customers to sign papers to the affect that we are not responsible for driveway damage before we go to the job.
