The view from my office window

Today, an ash we formerly topped to get rid of the EAB affected tops (I know stupid, but that's what he wanted and the rest stayed green for 2 more years)

I know the second pic isn't very clear, but that's 96' away.‎

Well I haven't been on treebuzz lately, infact I haven't been in the tree industry lately. After having a hard time working for family for the last few years I finally hit my breaking point and quit back in September.

Anyway I joined a the operators union and got on with a crane rental company in the city, so now I'm usually on construction sites instead of at customers houses. We have a variety of cranes and I'm slowly becoming experienced on all of them, in the fleet there is a 27 ton national, a 60ton grove tms700e, an 80 ton grove tms800e, and 3 ATs a 120 ton Liebherr, 150 ton Liebherr, and a 400 ton Liebherr.

Anyway the 120t operator went on vacation yesterday so that bumped my seniority up into his seat, and since I have the most tree removal experience in the company(obviously) I got to do the job today with a city crew removing eab infested ash from around a city pond.

Didn't get any good photos today.
