The best part about he NSF wire shelves is you can mount the legs, upside down by unscrewing the leveling feet and using lag to bolts in the rafters. Super rad to have shelving, but also great to have floor space.. one day in my dream shop!
I’ll also have a few suspended by pulleys for flaking wet ropes onto, and a fan pointed straight up at em
Are the threaded inserts that hold the leveling feet designed such that they have the same capacity for a "pull" load as for a "push" load? Would really suck to have them pull out and drop the shelves and contents.

Have you done this? Just out of curiosity, did you use hanger bolts screwed into the rafters or through-bolt the rafters using machine screws?

I’ve seen them set up this way in restaurants. Full of dish! No idea on the details of how they were mounted

Just FYI, with wheels & the bottom shelf in the lowest position, these NSF wire shelves allow 7-1/4" clearance to the floor for storage.
Shoes, etc.
Move the bottom shelf up for more floor storage height.

I have 10 of these wire shelving units scattered around the house:
Climbing gear, kitchen pantry, file box storage, garage storage, etc.
(One is dedicated to 33 RPM Vinyl Record Storage ! ! ! )
ALL have wheels !

I need more shelving ! ;)

I’ve also made some custom shelves with all thread rods, nuts, washers and some 1” boards. They were for a specific need back when I was raising pythons. I needed an adjustable height for modified rows of poly carbonate tubs. The upper shelf made sure the snake couldn’t pry the lid open!
