Hedge on top, dead pine branch, dead sticks, then ~12 18' logs from four 18-22" dead sweetbay magnolia and one 22" dead maple underneath. Full can, no resets.

elevate and thin 4 Tilia that crowd a 1700's town hall building in Kuressaare, Estonia. The national historic commission advised whacking them and replacing with elms. The planner/client did not like the idea; straight off she showed us pics of the trees from 1925. Did the work July 4th which was kind of fun.

Much less dramatic than removal would have been, but o so7795 (Small).webp 027 (Small).webp much more satisfying. btw, resizing pics would make this thread much more readable!

I don't know why I always find the ones that no mechanical can reach.

Hot and humid by the ocean
I've been out west a few times. Most folks out that way don't understand the effects of humidity on the right coast. One evening after dinner in Phoenix, came out of the restaurant and said we would roll down the windows in my truck and turn off the AC because the temperature had dropped and it felt quite comfortable. Then the radio DJ announced it was 105°F. Felt like 80° here in southeast VA.
