I do a majority of the insurance work around here yes, some of the other bigger outfits used to have it, but the insurance co's like us better ! Lol there aren't many legit co's around and the ones that are, well I'll reserve my comments on that! Short of the story is they are all stuck in the 70's and 80's on everything ! Lol I bring out the X rigging rings and slings and cranes and they think I'm from another planet..... Well I guess I am !
No there's lots of other crane work done in this area but we don't all have time to post every job. No offence Devon for some that is just everyday work and I'm not saying to brag just keep you so you don't get too big for bretches.

Not planning on getting big. I like the size we are at. Your still way south of me anyways ! Lol.
That is our everyday work , get the jobs done safely, fast and efficient, get paid well! I'm just talking my immediate area.

3/4 staiblebraid and looking back now,I realize that I pushed it just about to its max on this piece. At the time,I was cold and tired and should've thought it over. I probably got lucky there.

Redwood prune last week.

Using two strands, instead of one, would increase your WLL.

Not sure how I would have approached it exactly.

4 big cottonwoods the last two days. Drop and clean up. 3 were dead and the live one was right next to a water treatment facility and a phone box so we had to get creative. Brought the bucket truck but didn't end up using it. They were all right around 4 foot dbh. #120161213_101229.webp
