Have no idea why some of these picts are appearing sideways. Just finished this $8400. removal yesterday. No early picts but way over the roof of this slate roofed circa 1850's stone home. Real hard getting equipment in and material out due to very steep driveway. Had to bring my crane in headfirst and it got stuck on the stabilizer.

Put the rigs down and stacked boards under tires and escaped. Then went in headfirst up the neighbor's (brand new) driveway and scraped the road ....then across their lawn and then had to back crane out not to gash their drive with the stabilizer....again scraped the road but with a plywood pad under it. Had to take all the wood out with dump trailer because my log truck would have bottomed out. 4 1/2 days as I figured.
Flush cut was 10'4" at ground level, about 55" dbh, 110 ft tall

...
. Taught my newish employee how to run the crane on the job (only possible because he is smart and comm sets) but mostly bombed, chunked, hung, lowered what I could first then dingoed into dump trailer (faster than craning whole tree in such a tight spot) DSCF3467.webp and had my Mack chip truck and Vermeer BC 2000 right next to the garage. All in all...a completely PERFECT job, from accurate bid to engineering, setting up, executing...and completing ...and my favorite part...collecting ($).

I have had it for quite a while but just to add one thing....my newish Dingo TX 1000 is just an amazing machine and it continues to impress me daily...and I think I had the top of the line in the Dingo 525TX before I got this one.

I really am not sure as property values dropped a bit ago but have come back up. Similar property down the road is for sale for 1.2 million. I live in a relatively small house around the corner from this one.

haven't had that issue once since going with the suspenders on my MB belt - def the way forward
I have been wear suspenders on my harness for 15+ years. Guys ask me all the time about them but I don't see many guys wearing them, definitely helps me. Not just with big saws pulling my harness off but also I don't have to crank the waist belt down really tight, the suspenders keep the harness in place.

I added the Buckingham dorsal attachment option to my saddle just for the suspender benefits. Yes, it adds a little extra heat in the summer, both under the shoulder straps, and because then my pants are still at my waist and not my ankles. But of course that was the whole point.

Dude the cribbing or lack there of on the front outrigger in the third picture is insane!!!!! You have got to be kidding me, that has to be a joke. That is like perfect example of what not to do. So bad, that operator should never be let near another crane for the rest of his life. wtf...

He's been running a crane for over 35 years pretty sure he knows what he's doing. The crane never moved a millimetre and job was done safe. I removed the picture since I don't want to start an argument or this carry's on......etc etc

Kid, there's rope all over the place. 3 Strand Swing? Second climber? Rig Line? Access Line???

Tree looks pretty awesome anyway I look at it. I'm always so grateful to get into trees with structure like that.
