what did the piece weigh going on that trailer? Over 10?

We got our first winter snow this past week and had a couple storm jobs. Here is one that did some pretty bad damage. Homeowners were sleeping in that room when it came down 4:30am Friday morning. I was operating a 55ton national crane. We had to wait for power company to get a live wire off the ground before start. That’s why pics were in dark.

You have any close pics of the root plate?

@rico Hey man. I don't know if you've seen the latest video's from Reg but you were mentioned by name in his tree q/a part 2 on youtube. Huge props to you. Reg has been a huge hero to me since I started in the game. He has given me some great advice and support when I needed it. I'd find it as a personal achievement for him to know who I am much less mention me by name in a video. Probably sounds really stupid because we all put our pants on the same way every morning but to me, and the way I view him, it would be an awesome gesture to get props from him. I guess he's gone because I tried to tag him and his user name isn't coming up. It's also funny what he said about @Mark Chisholm. He's got the eyes of a killer LOL The context he said it is pretty observant and the analogy is good so not that he literally thinks Mark is a killer, just quite a dominant presence. LOL

Thanks for the heads up Steve. If I was forced to pick my favorite current climber it would definitely be Mr. Reg. He is just so fucking good at what he does, and has both the mental and physical aspects of this game covered like no one else. When I say I aspire to be like him, I truly mean it.

I agree. Plus I appreciate the raw delivery and dry humor. It resonates with me

My guess, the previous homeowner was foreclosed on, and said FU to the bank by girdling the trees that wouldn't endanger the neighbor.

The house is immediately out of screen to the right.

A row of 17, some dead some dying.

Burn, baby, burn.
21 trees, about 40 man- hours.
Mini helped.

A friend texted me and called me a killer. I asked what the hell that was about and then he pointed me to the video. Once I saw it i had to watch part 1. Good stuff. He is a humble guy in that he's seen enough and tested himself enough to know there's other people that do something as good or better, yet he knows how good he is and has that confidence. It may take him a few days to get up to speed on a new project but he'll catch you soon enough :)
