I've said this for years, but in hindsight, I think I've done a very poor job applying it. Do you have any practical tips to not let this job own you?

Set business hours, and stick to them. Schedule your days off well in advance and don’t let anything change them. Both of these are suggestions from my business coach, who owns three companies and a collection of real estate, and manages a family vacation just about once a month. His schedule is set about a year in advance, and with rare minor adjustments, he keeps it.
