My buddy complained that his chain stopped oiling. I prescribed oil tank drain (he already cleaned the bar groove/oil passages), wash tank with pre-mix, forensic check oil for jelly and wash-rinse for particulate. Fill with fresh oil.
Started oiling again. He found what he called "boogers" in the drained oil.
He was intermixing Husqvarna branded chain oil and Stihl branded chain oil. They appear to have coagulated.
