I think that song has been redone about 8 bazillion times. I have seen the Radiators do it in serious style! I think it's pretty old, though, maybe 1960's.

I too was really searching hard to see if there was a half hitch on the top limb. It would have been helpful to state that in your post with that photo. It would have eliminated some conflict.

I love making picks with one sling. (And I'm sure we all like balancing stuff).

But, to limit oneself to just one choker... all the time... and brag about simplicity. It it really necessary?
