what's in your rigging bags?! Show em up !

We were going to trade pictures for rings, I honestly cant member what happened.. Either I didn't get your addy, or I flaked on sending them. Either way no worries on my end. I still don't own any rings but I also do not see much of a use for them with what I do in my day to day... You were wanting a large format of my avatar for a bonsai project, fyi... I can still get the pics out to you, if you want...

No Levi. Not yet. But it will happen. I have all the video to do it. Just need time. To be honest, I've been close to the breaking point financially, mentally and on the edge of ruining my family due to investing in time and money into promoting the rings to the industry and almost having no return after investing and paving the way for the concept to be accepted.

So, it looks like I owed Steve still and he's being awesome and passing it on to someone else. (See, wow, infrequent moments of giving like this, makes me have hope that all people aren't shi*.) Thank you soooo much Steve.

The next person that's posts, can have Steve's stash.
Sorry to here of your misfortune, David. I know that you are industrious and clever and will get through any hard times, I feel bad for all of the free rings you gave me. I think I may have swayed some others to purchase them though... Not sure.

Are you doing any direct selling these days or is it all through Sherril?

thank you all ! I'm coming out of the bad times. Evo, you sent me plenty of pictures of that tree ,then 2 or 3 years ago I turned an old dwarf tree (Chamaecyparis obtusa variety Nana) into that avatar tree of yours, best I could. It was my favorite plant. Then a freak rain and flood ravaged my property last summer and washed away my bonsai trees, :-( I never found that one, my favorite one. Lots of bad stuff hit us in like a 3 week period last summer, all while I was under intense stress. A neighbor shot a pet of ours too, I found him dying of infection and gun shot. had a terrible time last summer, I canceled X-Week and the party too. I just searched for my bonsai pictures, only found a few from the beginning, it looked awesome in 2015, these pictures from 2013....... First picture is YOUR tree, then my bonsai version (again, these were old pictures during transitions, it got much better looking with growth). how did I do a bonsai with no time? well, I can't be watering a thin tray bonsai every day like most of the owners do, so I made a bigger tray with more nutrients and it didn't need as much attention. That Chamaecyparis was around 15 years old when I bought it, upright, very full round puff ball of a tree. I thinned it out majorly the first year and planted in the ground, then the second year, cut it more, planted at an angle and bent and wired it's limbs. It was a real blow to loose something I put time into and enjoyed.

SWEET! great job... It makes me sad that you lost it, and I'm very impressed with the work that you did with it.

Getting back to the Buzz 2 years later and discover old DMs a few weeks ago. Two guys didn't get a ring sling, so I'm making it right with more than a single ring sling. Robert Ash and Frank Haverkamp, a package is coming. Robert, I boxed ur package up tonight.
change your avatar while your at it. new beginnings old friend

One is a whoopie sling and a no brainer to install. The other is a regular sling.. The ring slings are really nice and I highly recommend them. I would look into to whoopie ring sling at TS for the ease of use and adjustability.

Yea, my current rigging is beat to shit, so I figured I would splurge and buy some nice new X-ring slings and that beautiful DMM block. Looking forward to getting them dirty.
must be all those feather pillows you slapping around. Now Skookum, Garlats that's riggin
