WesSpur 2010 Catalog

I have the same prob with bugz mesh, they work well for removals, but for fine pruning, especially when the sun is at an angle? they can be a bit hard to see thru ...

I'm surprise you guys don't know who that is cutting the Euc. Why don't you tell him up close and personal what you think about his non-ppe.

Ask for Graeme McMahon

Yeah Gerald,

I think I will pass on that.....

I have seen that dude climb in his vids,,,,,, and it would be best if I kept my mouth shut, even if we do have thousands of miles of ocean between us.

That guy and "ace tree" are some bad a$$ tree guys. The trees they take down are like the size of the ones you used to do..

Safety glasses or not Wesspur rocks! they are light years better than sherrill. Actually I was wondering how that guy works in those wicked thick gloves.

[/ QUOTE ]

FRIGGIN RIGHT! they blow sherrill away and they are extremely curtious

Yeah, I think that Graeme McMahon has rightly overtaken this thread. That man is a god! I would trade all the pup merit badges in the world to be that much of a bad a$$. To quote the old Euc man saying "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no man (or tree, apparantly) for I am the meanest s.o.b. in the valley". Graeme has obviously lived this one out, I bow in reverence.

They are great. I even wear them underneath my new Kask clear faceshield.

Neither of which are approved eye protection.

Not so. Great skill and feats of bravery are accomplished on a regular bases around the world in our profession. Graeme is exceptional but not the only one and no more immune to injury then any one else.

Purely figure of speech. Do I seriously think he is devine and not human? I mean come on. Am I impressed with that video and that tree he was taking down? Yes, and I would be as equally impressed with any other human doing the same thing in such a fashion.

The Tahune video is more fun to talk about than someone elses choice in PPE. That is a classic fer sure. I really like the music that seems to go with a man a couple toothpicks away from heaven having the time of his life.

Look ma, no safety glasses, no climbline, no specialty saw pants!! It's a miracle this hack walked away!

[/ QUOTE ]

Hack? LOL. Ive seen this jokers videos and he has my vote.
Lets see some of your work....is it comparable....friggin fool. you god damn safety yuppies should travel in a chain mesh covered bubble .......with your friggin safety glasses on and a mouth guard that restricts you from speaking.
........hack.....lmfao!

I think you missed the joke Old School. And frick with all that dust flying around I'm sure Graeme would of begged for a pair of goggles, (not approved glasses) because he'd still be getting dust in the eye.

I hope I did...and if I did i apologize. the guy in the video is doing something that most would not...and doing it well. so ....if i missed the sarcasm im sorry......if not.......well, the post is still there.

ok boreality....your right. It appears im the as*hole here. I just read it twice more with the mind set that it wasnt ridicule........and it was, but it was directed toward the little b*tches of the industry.....the PPE police cadets. Speelyei i apologize. Ill have to slow down when reading the posts before i post.......please dont send me a mail bomb, i dont have the appropriate PPE to open it

No problem it seems a few of us were overdosing on the "where's the PPE" comments. I never liked the term PPE since I heard it. It reminds me of a little kid taking a leak. But proper safety equipment I of course totally agree with.

Not so tophopper. The Bugz though not ANSI approved eye wear are the glasses/goggles of choice for tree workers who have fogging issues. They are more than adequate for tree work.

The Kask clear faceshield DOES meet the ANSI AND European safety code for eyewear. It just hasn't made it into the new standards yet.

Read their specs for a better understanding.
