I am selling a 2000 Vermeer 1230A wood chipper that has around 1650 hours of use. This chipper is in great condition, but I need to upgrade to a larger chipper. Some quick highlights:
- It is in excellent working order. I have been using it on a daily basis.
- It has been maintained on a regular schedule.
- To my knowledge, there are no major mechanical defects or looming mechanical issues
- The overall appearance of this chipper is good, but not great. I like to call this "working condition", meaning it has dings, bumps, and scrapes from being used daily.
- This machine was maintained on a regular basis at a local dealer before we purchased it.
This Vermeer has served me well and I fully expect that it will operate reliably for years to come.
