The reason we're going to stop conservative viewpoints on campuses, the far-right racist ranting hate-filled drivel?

Is the female student body. We must protect them from rape and molestation. From sprays of semi-auto or full bore on 30rounds per second political hate. Bubba don't go to public school to learn, he go to hate.
 
The beginning of the end of the neo-cons. Unchecked greed. Legal mass murder. Even wars without ends? Climate change? Violence against women and kids? Treason?

The prospect energizes many. Hearts and minds against ego's and personal/party greed and corruption. Against murder and totalitarianism. We'll see. Elections coming, civil actions, court orders, jury deliberations, and continued mass murders by Americans on Americans. 18 times higher than ANY Muslim terrorist ever.
 
There is a future coming. There is hope. Might even have peace if we silence the lies well ahead of time (Fox, Rush, Hannity, Bannon, Pence, etc. etc.).
May the best people win. May the fat-man bone-spur draft evader be banished, to Moscow.

Oak, I made it pretty clear a few pages back that Trump's rescinding of Obama's regulation had nothing to do with this kid getting a gun.

Obama's rule would have required the Social Security Administration to inform The National Instant Criminal Background Check System if someone was mentally unable to take care of their own financial affairs, i.e. benefits.

Cruz was not on Social Security. He received no benefits. He was never deemed mentally unstable. He would not have been affected my Obamas regulation at all.

Again, facts be damned. Emotion is all that matters. You are determined that Trump is at fault somehow. So be it.
But the argument is demonstrably baseless.

Yes, definitely. Silence the "lies". You have earlier admitted that you would like to take all guns away from people like me. Then, presumably, people on your side can use their guns to silence anyone whose opinion they disagree with. What could be more American than that?

I see it as folks pointing out what they see as faults in their great land rather than a desire to live in a police state, socialist or otherwise.
More often than not, most of these artists are describing the haves and have-nots though there are a few examples of armed uprisings and preparations. The Only Band That Matters gave us Guns of Brixton from across the pond for example. Unfortunately, songs and albums like these were taken too literally by some and poorly understood by others. The goal was usually a desire for conversation.

I have work to do. Alliances to forge, old friends to connect with, and alliances to build. Obligations from my oaths to protect and enemies to destroy.
Busy here. Wars to fight. Enemies to silence...and some to arrest and detain. Retirement only gave me time. Frienships, an army. War without blood was a pipedream but sure thank the Soviets for showing it's possible. Turn the tide, get America back, and outlaw the instigators of mass destruction.

I always thought RATM were like a kid's version of Fugazi, seen both bands live a few times, Fugazi obviously a few years earlier, Fugazi were much better. More authentic. RATM's music was overshadowed by their faux Marxist pretensions. I stopped listening after the first album (some great songs) although I always liked their cover of Renegades of Funk, high quality. Morello murdering The Ghost of Tom Joad live with Springsteen was like witnessing a cat being killed. Talk about ruining a great song.

What grabbed me first about Fugazi (apart from the obvious Minor Threat connection) was the music, not the socially conscious lyrics. That came second.


For pure scathing songwriting and humour filled sarcasm though nothing beats the DKs, who made sure the music was fun too. Good old Jello.


Better video for Renegades, Oakwilt wishes he could dance like this.....

Nah. It's just that so many people who are Socialists behave like they're Fascists without realizing it. Like Oak silencing and arresting "enemies".

Oh, and the inconvenient fact that "Nazi" is an abbreviation of the German for "National Socialist".

It's hard to find decent new music these days with attitude, not not looking for a certain type of music just something authentic. Heard this guy recently, not bad. Libtards and PC types will hate it so that's good enough for me, you find the spirit of rock n roll alive and well in the strangest places....
