Trump allowed a gun sale Obama wouldn't

I have spent over 25 years living with a school teacher, and I can tell you the idea of arming our teachers is insane. Who's gonna be held responsible and accountable when inevitably a teacher kills a few kids with some stray bullets? What's gonna happen when a big strapping 18 yr old young man loses his shit, overpowers a female teacher, takes her gun and starts slinging some lead? Any idea the training it takes to be an accurate shooter in an actual shoot em' up? Who's gonna pay for that. I'm not. You won't find nearly enough teacher willing to pack heat to school. Not gonna happen. Its just another distraction so we won't talk about the actual problem.. Too many guns.

95% of Americans support comprehensive background checks
90% support long waiting periods
67-70% support banning assault weapons
65% support stronger gun regulations.

Those are some serious numbers that are only gonna get worse for the NRA in the future. Eventually those numbers are going to turn into stronger guns regulation. Like I said earlier, if it is the will of the people then the wing-nuts can come along willingly or unwillingly, but come along they will. (any means necessary) We will not be held hostage too much longer!

I have spent over 30 years living with an educator.

Educations are not for everyone: not all of you can handle educations.

Scalia died for Naught it seems, but the above sure seems like the way it was supposed to go down.
You mean the justice who said this:

The late justice also more generally offered the belief that “like most rights, the right secured by the Second Amendment is not unlimited.” It is “not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose"

You’re right: he agrees I can’t have a bazooka; without the proper permitting & vetting of Course.

The fact that the Second Amendment is not absolute has been clear for many decades. Automatic weapons, for example, have been outlawed since 1936 I believe.

We are getting somewhere folks - you agree guns can be regulated.

@hsell what do you make of this revelation? http://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/b...g/fl-florida-shooting-sro-20180222-story.html

Buck said he "pussed out" maybe a female cop would have "dicked in" and saved the day...

I think whomever accepts that role must accept the responsibility of that role.

Like training & arming teachers, it’s not for all that are approved.

I believe teachers should be given the opportunity to be more effective as they are already the last line of the defense for our children, like it or not.

The Coach that stood in between his students & the Nut job is unfortunately another example.

Firearms are already regulated.

No one in the US can legally buy a new firearm without it being registered to them after they fill out a 4473 & is verified they are clear to possess firearms.

Added:
Anyone that has purchased a new firearm in the last 20 years already understands this.

More evidence it's ALL about politics and keeping power:

And from the last time they had total control of the Federal Govt:

Not picking on Dems. Repubs are the same. They value keeping power more than their supposed principles.
