Interesting, It is like a Walnut tree without the Walnuts.

Common name is Caucasian Wingnut, hence the clues given.

I'd never have gotten that without the clues. From the photos I thought it was going to be something tropical. Also the leaves look really pale green, most wingnuts I've seen are dark green.
I saw lots of these in Prague and Munich as street trees. Very cool trees.
