Actually, my first thought was Juglans nigra, but when I saw the size of the tree I kinda changed my tune. I am pretty sure it's not a cinerea, and based on some big ones that I saw at the Morton, I think it COULD be a Black Walnut, but for the sake of being different I'll guess...

Styphnolobium japonicum aka Sophora japonica.

I'll give it to Dave, then. Yes there was a request for natives, but Sophora is common enough. No one actually listens to the dour Mr. Xman anyway.
