This is one of the largest oregon white oaks in the world. This tree is located in the Oregon Gardens as a part of a large grove of oaks. all this data is seven years old.

Approx. height: 99' 6"
Age: 400 years
Circumference: 23' 3"
Crown spread: 125'

I love to see when a tree lays down branches and uses them as bracing. Nature's the best architect/engineer!


I think you can go ahead and take a turn TNT because Tom is getting busy with ISA, RI. (and besides he has carte blanche to take a turn whenever he wants

Let's try this one. It will be tough. This is not a common tree and this isn't the most common form for it. It tends to be more shrubby.

This is a hard one, and I thought Japanese Lilac too when I first looked at it.

I will be interested to know what it is!
