Trees from a distance

I'm with Tom on the Malus 'Prairiefire.'
and probably the Larix too.
Just now getting a moment to breath. It's been a busy spring for me. I've planted two tractor trailor loads of BIG trees and shrubs this season.
I do have a good pic of an unusual tree whenever there is a lull. LOL!
Dang I've missed ya'll.

Holly, you may be right with Okame. The shade of pink is right on for that, a little light for prairiefire crab. We shall see when the clock strikes 12 and Xman turns into an internet surfing pumpkin.

tree one- crabapple Malus spp.

and was the Chamaecyparis right?

#1, crabapple is CORRECT! nice color bloom isn't it? I don't know the variety, it was here when I bought the place, but was next to a red jap maple and the pink bloom and the red maple leaves clashed real bad.

Chamaecyparis is NOT correct.

no one has gotten the yellow, weeping needle tree thing yet.

no larch, or anything mentioned.

It did have several other alternate leaders that I trimmed out for the transplant. might be weeping more than usual, and might be more yellow than usual. normally a single stemmed tree.

welcome back TNT.

Tom, HA, I got on here before 12! but i should get off now and call and schedule tomorrows workday.

Diane, you aren't doing so well this time. thanks for the "pretty pond" comment anyway, I work hard on that pond.

All right!! C. deodara has that droopy-effect when they are young.

Since this was a team effort I think Waldo should have a turn (for crabapple & Picea) and then Tom (for Blue Cascade)and I'll give my turn to TNT (welcome back!)

Nice round, everyone!
