Do you think you can make a master rigger of him online in a thread, capable of doing anything even close to the vid you just posted in this stinkin thread?

I know man!

ya, heard Xman. To be honest wasn't the answer I was looking for but, was comprehensive and true. Of that I have faith in. Heard others say not to just trust what you hear in a forum, not bad advise but, I'm no dummy I know the truth when I hear it. Seems my shortcuts will not work after all. Why was it so hard just to get a straight answer I'll never be sure but serious thanks man. Furthermore as you might have realized I thought I had it all figured out. wrong... Xman your the life saver not these other folks. Even if they had the skills you do.... comming off your high horse and just spelling it out. thats a big deal. maybe no one but me or you will realize that but still valued to me. much love.

What about all of the pics on your website of you traveling around the country rigging big trees? Surely you must have learned something in your travels. From your pics it looks like you already know about but hitching and swinging big Euc limbs and crane removals and climbing and probably palms too, it looks like there are lots where you live in Virginia. Please tell me you have something to say for yourself. False advertise much?

Any guesses who jgreene really is? I'm thinking that nice guy with the santa clause avatar, or Riggs maybe even Mark C. Could it be Don Lee Nam learned english and got out of the shoe business?

Probably someone with a lot of time on his hands....now what about this scenario, suppose the dude miscalculates the height of the piece he is cutting so instead of 40' ( half the 80' tree ) he is actually cutting a 50' piece....now when the butt hinges over and heads toward the ground and lands where do you think the other 10' is going ( kind of depends how much slop is in the rigging but important none the less ), remember its tied off so it's very likely heading straight back toward the vacinity of the bucket ( cutter ) in all likelyhood, this stuff happens fast....that could spell disater or maybe dude is lucky and has moved quickly after the cut....hopefully and this is just another thought....BTW I think Mr Greene should just get out of the bucket and climb the tree and take some weight off like most sensible treenerds would do, it would take a bit of time but it is the safest option.....from the looks of his gallery pics an the website seems like he has some climbing experience, if what I am looking at is legit, yeah are there palms in Virginia, I don't recall seeing any when I visited but that was years ago ( probably wasn't looking as I wasn't into trees then )....Good luck Mr Greene I am not in anyway attacking you...TBH I am not a big stuff rigger, I just take manageable pieces with the equipment I got ( I take what my equipment can handle, good for a few hundred pounds max ), plus the trees here are not very big anyway......SIMPLE SWING, AKA TREENERD ( just had to throw that in couldn't resist )

Good point, I didn't even consider the possibility that it's a fake.

The master arborist known as "James the narcoleptic tree cutter" has got this simple rigging stuff down to a science, and I don't think he ever needed to read The Tree Climbers Companion to become an urban forest phenomenon.

Well Ted I sent X a text saying I think this whole thread is a setup, a troller in the midst but I was giving Mr Greene the benefit of the doubt but now things are really not adding up...so I am voicing my opinion, which is just that...so Mr Greene if this is not so, please accept my apology.....I am not really into all the BS....

THIS better not have been created just to stir things up, because I don't have a lot of time on MY hands and could have been doing a million other important things.

He could easily be using other peoples photos to build up the business image. Plus, he's probably had contract climbers and taken pictures of them.

Nope David I personally am hoping that everything is in order and that some learning can come out of this for Mr Greene....All I am thinking is something is not adding up, so I am putting it to Mr Greene ( not that he owes me anything, but on an open forum it's fair game to call folks on stuff they post ), as I said if everything is in order I hope he accepts my apology....that being said is it normal for folks to use other peoples photos to advertise their business...I am one to not think so and would not do it, but I am not here to judge as I am not a saint by any means....just saying is all...

If he has hired contract climbers then surely he has seen someone blocking down a spar. And if thats the case then why the questions?

Otherwise it should be considered false advertising using another's pictures. But I do know that some advertising and website companies have stock photos of every industry.

Or he's a troll!

I'm not picking on Mr. Greene just curious.

Definitely plenty to learn from this site.

And if you think nobody here is concerned about your safety and others check out the Awakenings. You will see how humble and sincere we all really are.

I would like to know: since Mr Green has admitted to stealing the photo content on his web site and has shown that he knows zilch about tree work why he is here?

I mean we ban be people for calling eachother names but not for being admitted frauds and liars? Copyright infringement is a crime. Using others photo content without a release is a crime. Forget about him being a moron, and giving the rest of us a bad name out there by misrepresenting himself..

Where is the moderation?

whiz: could use the help but not sure what it is your asking p.m. me with better detials please.

willbranch: what was I thinking, duh. Just bring my crane! why didn't I think of that? Heck sometimes the simpler things evade me lol. I wish I had one.

nick: can you honestly say you care about where those photo's came from? You can say it outload maybe but, you can't lie to yourself. All you care about is bashing people. Why am I here? You know the answer to that too though, I know thats not how you meant it. Oh and not that you care but, I almost have enough photo's to replace the ones on my site. Good ones too. At least I'm impressed with them. As I've said to you before when you chased me around on my last thread. Come down of your cross. Use the wood to build a bridge and get over it! Furthermore get a life! lack of knowledge does not make you a moron. It's your ability to learn that counts. I can honestly say I'm trying to learn. What are you doing? playing copyright police? How does that help anyone other then boosting your failing ego. Admited fraud. Thats amuzing. Somewhat true but amuzing none the less. In a pinch to build a site with no photos of me taking out a tree. I told you that. I told you. You didn't uncover my so called crime! I'm not a bad person, you are!

p.s. to all you others that just got all high horse with me instead of giving an answer. I'm starting to pick up on why. Still The answer plus some criticism would have been more helpfull. For my sake and others. I can honestly say that though I have delt with trees for most of my adult life and in some really bad situations. Most falling on cables with amazing amounts of pressure and unpredictable consequences. I have soo much to learn. I'm trying folks. In fact for those that actually read this thread. I'm not sure this is the best place to find the answer even though I know they do exist here. Most just get all high and mighty instead of being helpfull. It's been said there is not stupid question. Well thats not always true I realize that.

btw I'm still using my current technique only now with a rope that has an 18k working load not break rating. Winch line off a derrik digger. Heard from one member that shocking the rope would eventually couse it to fail. Kinda hard to belive that would be the case with this rope but, anyone willing to hit me back with input about that wouldn't be a bad thing
