The latest Matt Cornell harness

A pink tutu and fuzzy bunny slippers would be lighter and more comfortable than logging boots and farmer armor for dragging brush. Just saying. I mean, a whole crew with matching ballerina outfits with your company logo embroidered across the back... you could be stylin' in the hot sun while those other guy are sweatin' buckets and miserable. Hey, you could rework a MCRS with Calamine rope... it would be color coordinated, and everything.

I think @rico may have already beat me to this idea. He's probably tired of climbing wearing only a leather thong and nipple clamps.
Excellent

Yes he said he wasn't gonna tell us in the video I think too. It's probably Weaver bc IDK y anyone would have issues with any other manufacturers and IDK y he wouldn't at least say that it's Not Weaver to drop any speculation or rumors.

I could never get tired of nipple clamps...Ever!

I know tuefelberger wouldn't endorse this but I always wondered if the webbing on the treemo could be replaced with rope...
I'd rather just try out the mcrs when it's released but I've always like rope much more than webbing. Though webbing is lighter and more comfortable in most cases.
The dee rings upper and lower are the hard part

Duhhhh lol thanks Evo I totally farted right there man.
Yeah I guess one would have to switch to riggings plates or modify the lower D's and switch to the alternatives up top bc I think if ya lose the dmm lower D's then no sence in it at all.

It’s more than doable.. the waist buckle is the hardest part, but it could be subbed with a cats paw. Lower dee’s can be subbed with rigging plates. You can make the upper dees with larger sized rings and rope. Keeping the upper dee’s stationary is a bit of a head scratcher for me, but could splice a rope from left ring behind the back pad to right dee.

Send me a tree mo and some 3/8s, two large rings, two small/med rings, and two rigging plates and I will eventually send something back to you.

Why is it that we always want what we don't have, even when what we have is excellent. You will not be improving the TM by adding rope to replace the webbing.

There are some aspects on the TM which can be improved upon. The webbing isn't the issue, but adjustable hip dee's, and a few other tweaks could make it mo-betta. The mods I'd like to make could be done with rope, and it would still be somewhat legit. As legit as a MRCS... They could be done buy sewing in new webbing, sliders buckles, hip dee's etc but that just adds a whole lot of complexity and safety considerations

I think adding rope to the tm is less for improvements as it is for “recycling”. I have a retired tm and have considered reviving it with rope. This thread has me thinking about it again.

Exactly the way I was thinking... I don't believe it would be any better... Just cheaper.
