Tennessee Tree Climbing Championship

Great time in Memphis(missed u Pancake)awesome trees nice site also-except for the 273 portables (who needs that many portables?) Ben Poteet did an awesome job. And the whole Poteet family was very kind. Kentucky Limbwalker and Kentucky Sawyer brought some heat (made Kentucky proud). I predict them two are going to be hard to beat next month. Nice meeting the whole Florida gang: Scotty, Collin, Gabe, and the other guy (sorry I forgot his name). Thanks Wes, Rich, Rick, Roger, and Scotty for all the hard work they put in. And actually standing up while judging. Great prizes for the contestants (probably worth several thousand). Thanks to Ferrell Tree Service for the sponsorship. How about America, T.J? - Anybody got a tag-line?

Are there any pics? How about sushi stories? But what I really would like to see are the results? I will check the other domain for results. But Congrats to all Volunteers and Competitors. Sounds like a great time was had...

What a great trip!!! Congrats to Ben for his incredible Master Climb and to Aquilino and Charles for their Master Climbs. Congrats as well to all of the competitors for their excellent climbing and comradery. Wes Hopper and his crew did a great job with the site and prizes and the Memphis Botanical Garden deserves extra thanks for allowing us all to invade their beautiful grounds. Can't wait till next years comp!!!

I don't have too many pictures but will post them once I get home and resize them. We never did get to hit some sushi, though huge thanks go to Abram for supplying me with the means of always keeping fish on my mind (or head anyway, pics later on that).

Nothing says America to me like climbing trees!

Heres a shot of the Belayed Speed Climb. This is KyLimbwalker gettin up there.

I don't know who this nut is? The guy in the photo loved sushi soooo much that he had a hardhat custom made with some shrimp on it. All I saw him do was walk around saying, "Disqualified!"
