Tennessee Tree Climbing Championship

Quite the treebuzz showing. I heard Treescaler is at the 'guard now, will he compete? What about SpaceGhost- he goes coast to coast, what about Memphis? I also heard some nasty rumor that Georgia, home of many mis pronounced words, is attempting to build a group to rival the TN Chain Gang. I know some great haunts in Memphis including an Irish bar that allows and encourages you to feed the goats and give them beer. I've spent good money on it! The prizes are looking good.
 
I just took a peek at the potential prize list, all I can say is there are some volunteers that are working overtime to provide a great climb. FTS and Wes Hopper deserve kudos, along with other TN Volunteers. Are we at 3 weeks to go? Please be sure to PM RemovalWiz to tell him what a loser he is for having a friend who schedules a wedding on the comp date!
 
hey ya'll, im actually on a road trip to tennessee come tomorrow night, ill be there for a couple of days, i believe we are going to nashville, any good climbing spots i should know about
 
nashville. thats it, ha, i dont even have that planed out, i have a map on how to get there and thats about it, kinda a spur of the moment kinda thing, risque is fine, i dont care, also, if you know of any good bars that would be more than helpful, mans gotta eat
 
real quick guys, im new to this whole contest thing, since im from out of state can i still compete? ive never competed before but have heard of some of the events so ive been practicing a lot (more like working everyday for about a month now) can i do some events or do i have to do all of them, any help would be great, tennessee, ill be seeing you in about 20 hours,
 
You'll be welcomed at the comp and find it very beneficial. You have to try each event- you should have no problem with any event. Out of state competitors can only compete in the preliminaries, not the masters. Look in the rules and regs forum for complete rules. I would suggest Springwater bar on West End, there are tree climbers there ans it happens to be across the street rom a previous TCC site, Centennial Park. Also look into 2nd ave and lower Broadway.

I gave Rob a call and I just still don't understand. If this is his BEST friend why wont he change the date of his wedding? I know I would do that for my best friend.

after spending some time in tennessee ive come to the realization that you are all crazy, thats probably the hottest ive ever been and all i was doing was walking in the streets, good luck on the contest folks, its gonna be hot, thanks for the info pancake
 
Well the winds of change have blown in, I have joined a company in New Hampshire and will be starting in mid September- Have to prep for the move. In one way I am bummed about missing Tennessee and Kentucky, but I am joining a company that better meets my needs. Best of luck to all in TN.
 
I know man I know. I thought about you yesterday SZ, 1988- Eazy E and the whole Compton Crew on cassette- I don't think the boss liked it! I am really bummed about missing this comp- I am intending on making the CAA however. I still want to thank all the buzzers comming to TN.
 
whats up Keith you leaving?Whos all gonna be in Tennesee?Our little texas crew is going(me ,abram zies and our wives).Me and Az are gonna try and compete,hopefully be alot of fun.
 
Great news Jimmy. I'm bringing Colin Kelly and Gabe to compete and myself and Pumpkin to help out. No wives this time,But Ky will be a different story for the Mrs.

Its getting closer! Is everybody pumped up for this?

I'm not hearing much from the TN Chain Gang on this comp. I know Rob and Keith will be MIA, but come on! Seems like a lot of out of staters are comin in to give the Chain Gang a run for their money.

I'm coming to tech, but might throw down as a last minute competitor if the comp is well staffed.

Who else is competitng from TN? BJ Absner and Ben Poteet? Others?
