Stihl Trousers

I´m with you there, Ive been working me through Stihl 9 layer, SIP 5-1 to my present Stretch Air Kevlar Extreme. Great pair of pants! Which one are you using?

I've got the basic ones, front protection but in grey like kevlar extreme.

I wear the Stretch Air, SIPS 5.1 and a pair of Stihl 4 layer pants from Germany. They are really nice. Schoeller material.

That must get really sweaty! I would say that two pairs should be ok for a man with your chainsaw experience.

Nope, German issue. They are said to with-stand the same cutting time.

Mark, got any more info on those 4 layer trouwsers from stihl?? i was at a big trade show the other day and was asking at the stihl both and the guy's there had not heard of them yet?? you sure they are 4 layer and not 6??

were did you get them??

We also purchased the Stihl Pants and returned them a few weeks later. Very bulky, and the fit did not "feel or look right." Very hot also. Will look into the SIPS in the near future. Seems they are the way to go
