Soil Treatments for Drought Stress

You should look at Rhizofuel, mycorrhizal inoculant at www.Rootgrow.com. It has 11 species mycorrhizae, 19 species of bacteria, humic acid and sea kelp, vitamins b-1 and C and Glycine. Rhizofuel is much lower in price and works great on drought stressed trees.

You should know what we as arborist are providing and why. Liquid humate plus BDE also known as TMG is a base compound derived from two specific species of sea kelp that help to maintain cell membrane integrity and help control water retenton on cellsgreatly increasing water holding capacity in cells and entire plant structures.humates in mineral and carbon sources greatly increase soils water holding capabilities great food source for soil microbes and bolsters both beneficial bacteria, fungi and protozoa. the benefit of protozoa is they grow, divide, and die, they create a tremendous amount of microscopic organic material in soil which helps to hold moisture. food grade yucca is a soil penetrant and wetting agent as well.

Believe it or not...the trees in Charlotte are looking great! Maybe the drought stress will show itself later in the summer, or maybe the trees are tougher than I thought. I should also add that we have be getting a decent amount of rain this year and in the more important times (as far as trees goes).

The trees are looking good here this spring. I will hold judgement until the real heat of the summer (July and August) hit us and the rain stops falling.

But if it keeps raining, you won't see me complaining!
