So. Chapter - Shreveport, LA 2009

Hi Everyone,

Last call for anyone interested in judging or being a tech for the TCC in Shreveport.

We've got some great head judges lined up, so this could be a great learning experience for some of you guys that have always wanted to judge or tech, but didn't know where to start.

Just about a month out, and this is going to be a good one!

So....EZ and I checked out the mileage from Charlotte to Shreveport, turns out to be only 853 miles give or take a few. That's pretty much nothing to us, we would drive to Alaska, if we had to! It's easy, EZ already did it, plus we drove to St Louis this year and it was 735 miles, give or take.

See you all there! I hope to be a head judge of one of the quick events, like footlock or belayed speed climb...but I guess I'll do whatever, mostly cracking skulls, making things happen, you know, getting everything in alignment! That's what I silently do...if I ever show up!

Yours Truly,

Mo-rice

Babberney is coming to help out, not compete. I'm sure he's up for what ever you want him to do. We can't leave any earlier than Friday mourning because at this point we don't have any one else to run shop when we are gone and I should not leave Laurin and the new baby for for much longer than 3 days. We will leave as early a possible on Friday so we can hopefully be of at least some help in the afternoon. I think it's about an 8hr drive.

Nevic,

I can't wait to meet you and Babberney on Friday afternoon! I am humbled by the fact that you will be leaving your newborn for three days to help out with this event.

I will do my best to make it worthwhile.

Well the baby will be 8 months old on March 7th so I guess she's not a newborn anymore. I'm not sure why Keith is not speaking up for himself since he's on the buzz more than me but we will both be there and I think one of the fellows from the crew wants to come along too (Jackson), it will be his first TCC.

And I'll be glad to see you Scotty! Since you bring up shirts.... I have several brand new, never worn or washed TCC shirts from TX Chapter from I'd say '03 - 08' That I would be willing to bring and trade for spare shirts from other chapters competitions or other events that are in good condition. Any one interested in a good trade PM me.

Ok I know this is bordering on thread theft... but one more.
I collect arborist and forestry patches and t's so if any one wants To trade some related t's I can also bring some stylish TMBM shirts. Again PM if yer interested. Dork out. 10/4

Easy, last year we were able to get Ol'Wild Bill permission to camp out at the event park in Fort Worth as "Security". It took a wink with the City Forester who then made a call to the Park Police to sanction the camp out. Any chance your event could use some "Security"?
