Hey TL. awesome picts, and Awesome job done.Glad to be looking at it from my comfy chair, definately one of those sphincter clenchers.Plus why is it the brezee always seems to pick up just after we(as climbers)get to these kind of job sites?I wonder.Anyway I was curious, had anyone lightened some of the weight on that horiz. branch above the last chain? From the picts. it looks like it had lost the head off that side sometime earlier. Also along that same thought line,i've often wondered about flushing a lead so close to a horiz. branch.Seems like it would be more prone to splitting than if one was to flush the cut higher up the lead to leave more connective fibers.I know what that sounds like and seems basic, but again I wonder. Will have to do some research on that one.But that tree looks like it was doomed anyway. If missing more than 1/3 of trunk dia. I like to remove, many times the cust. is not always right!
