how long is the recommended bury for a beeline blue e2e with locking brummels?

The bury can be just a fid length but it's a different "feel" as a hitch cord if you make the buries by pass each other, know what I mean?

yeah. I want to make a 26" e2e and never attempted a locking bramble splice. So any tips would be great. Any videos that you know of?

You've never spliced tenex? Maybe I'm confused Bee line blue is no different than the 8mm in construction, correct?

This is a chest harness i spliced a while back. It worked alright but there were no adjustments so I have since retired this one and created another one with some help from yoyoman. I will be posting about the new harness later.

Thanks Jon and Reed! nope never spiced tenet. just double braid and 16 grand. I can't follow those instructions from treestuff for some reason. I know its just me. I will read them them a couple more times to try and understand. not sure about steps 10-11. maybe jons notes will be little easier for me

I used a mixture of treestuff directions and some of my own knowledge,the measurements did not spec out for the thicker beeline.

At one point I had made a chart of all the 12 strand cordage (that i have spliced) shrinkage rate (the amount a cord shortens when it has a tail buried in it). Lost it......sucks. Made writing recipes for different pieces easy.

That's the hardest part to figure for me, the shrinkage rate

It was tough, but not as bad as I had made it out to be in my head, but tough enough that I haven't decided whether or not to put a splice on the other end of the lanyard
