How'd you like that workshop? Did you meet Jose? That dude is faaast.Maybe 5"? I can't remember because we were on to the next project before I could let it soak in.
I loved it! About 18 of us there. The first day some of us hung around until 8 p.m., but 12 hours standing on the shop floor was killer on my knees and back. Hands were pretty sore by then too. How'd you like that workshop? Did you meet Jose? That dude is faaast.
Thanks, but I must confess that it also involved two not so nice (unsuccessful) splicesVery nice for your first splices.
For sure! The oceans splices really look nice. I have never tried splicing something that small, too small for my fat fingers! If you only failed twice before you got one to go home, you're ahead of the curve.
10mm OP splices easy peesy. If you can splice things like tachyon and cougar, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to do hitch cord. From one guy with fat fingers to another, go to harbor freight, buy a set of micro screwdrivers and grind the points in to little duck bills. Makes little things easier to grab when you have a variety of picks hanging out. Best 2 dollars I've ever spent. For sure! The oceans splices really look nice.
