20' 16 - strand DEDA
 
I made 2 of these. One for 1/4"-1/2", one for 9/16"-1". Saves time.

3 different measurements for each fid length, 1 line for short fid, 2 close lines for half fid length, 3 close lines for full fid length.

These come in a pack 6 at harbor freight for 2 bucks. 15 seconds with a dremel, best strand pickers ever.

I know these aren't splices, but they sure make the job easier and more enjoyable.
 
Ya,im confident it is. Thanks,wish I would've ordered the clear coating so it doesn't look so ....well,painted hahaha next time

Criticism welcome by all means!!

It is not bunched,its like the big fish picure taking, that part of the cord is closer to the camera, the cover is actually tighter than they come from Yale. Im using it today,i will post a pic after a days use. Good looking out though TommyB,appreciated greatly.
 
Lol i assume your referring to the skinny piece of rope,its some sterling brand somthin er other, 5k+lb rating.

But it did start looking lil strained when i moved the choke to the trunk and cranked on the comealong
