Safari user insight

Although enforcement has been diluted down to next to nothing under the last eight-year Wall Street administration, there are reasons the Federal Register and the FIFRA Act are Federal laws and they weren't enacted to depress industry, they were established to protect the public and environment.

I realize we're under the gun the protect and save trees and the threats are astronomically growing. At the same time as the survivor of the consequences of ag-use chemicals, long used before research was applied to study health effects, there are limits to their use and more so, the law is the law for a reason.

Apply experimentally while realizing you're placing at untested and high risk the results you're not contemplating. While a manufacturer may suggest an increase in solution, application, or use...just as a distributor may suggest better results from these, there are guidelines that penalize these attempts and reporting of such advocated uses is mandatory also under the FIFRA code. Legalprotections are in place if only label uses are followed above and below separate State and local statutes.

Please follow label-only guidelines, no matter what the salesmen recommend. It's the law and after the years and dollars spent on my own and children's experience with the consequences of falsified science, marketed compounds before testing and approval, or a company's profit interest - nomatter the higher response rates of success...

Poisoning the planet isn't much different that stealing from people.

Safari is 100 times more water soluable, makes it move in the tree faster. Gets a few more pest bugs than imidacloprid, and dosen't stay in the tree for years. Most of the neonicotinoids and a low toxicity to humans so it is relatively safe to use, especially in a soil drench application. Oil will work in most cases just as well if you have the timing right and are monitoring correctly- Chemicals as a last resort with a good IPM program in place.
