It extends maybe an inch more than shown, never comes close to the wrench though. I don't need a compact system because I have an adjustable bridge.View attachment 40891
I can't for the life of me figure out how to properly tie one of those little Michoacán's... even after my bro has shown me many times I just can not commit it to memory.
Reed, does your knot stay nice and compact like that when you load it or does it stretch out a fair bit?
I don't ever take the device off the rope anymore. Ponytails and retrievable redirects make it that much easier.I get it. But say you want to take it off during your climb, there's a lot of things to juggle and drop. Although with your setup I guess it wouldn't be too hard to leave everything clipped to the biner as you cleared a redirect or something, granted you can tie your hitch with only one free eye.
Dang, that's a really good way to explain that, I see it clearly now, thanks.it ties like a Blakes but only tucks under one wrap, rather then the 2 over two of a split tail
I think it is the device in this thread... a prettier version of it.@JeffGu, I would like to know more about your anchor/ end terminations. It looks like there is something clever going on there.
