rope runner

I did not like any of my cougars with a runner....wrench yes runners no...but I love a runner wide open...with well worn in rope....many variables to get a runner working right...cougar is great rope though....
You were doing it wrong. Just a note, Cougar is awesome in the BDB too.

Don't even say it Swing!

Thanks all!
Happy to hear that cougar works well with the runner except in the Caribbean.

As I have both coming tomorrow for a small Canadian fortune.
Hmmm, I do a lot of things wrong but using a runner is not one of them....cougar was just not my choice for a runner....Sumac and Calamine are just so much better....but remember folk it is all about PREFERENCE....you might very well love it....lol

I just ordered some Sumac. How do you like yours?

Swinga, haven't tried those two yet, I've become a die hard Yale. I love those 11.7 lines, they work fine in my bone (alright, there's a little creep with my winter weight or with a big saw).
What makes you say calamine and sumac are your favs out of all them?
Been Yale since day one.

Who makes calamine and poison ivy? I forget. Also do you guys run static and what static do you use?
I have to laugh at that, but, Yale.
Escalator from Teufelberger is excellent with the Runner. 1/2" HTP is nice too. I have yet to try the KMIII or Max but I know people dig it.

Don't laugh at me Reed not cool, so not cool. Now I have to purchase thicker skin. I ask because I don't shop at Sherrill and its listed as Sherrill brand so looking for the match at TS. D!@k I haven't even looked past cougar puke for years now so I usually don't pay attention to this silly talk of ropes and such.
