rope runner

I don't Steve, it's in my cart but I have yet to buy it. I have my own custom body I usually run. I would like to try the baby bump just to see how it campares to my version for friction. If I don't like it I'll send it back or we can just pass it on to another buzzer. Thanks Steve.

I mailed a bunch out today. Here is my word of caution....if you don't have a tool to remove the slick pin putting this or probably anything on that side will make removal of the pin difficult. I have a tool and still currently only run on the head side. Not sure you really need both sides.

Hey guys. I know there are mixed reviews on the baby bump. It all comes down to user preference. I currently run the blue one treestuff sells. It's awesome on kmIII. My style of climbing meshes with the baby bump though. Crazy thing is at one point I ran one of the earlier bumps on the same kmIII and it was snagging on ascent. After some time it went away. I couldn't figure it out. I wonder if I was leaning back to much on the rope during ascent?

I'm two days in with baby bump. There is definitely more friction, it doesn't bother me on ascent though. I was very frustrated today on descent and swings , tons of drag.
Hoping it clears up as it breaks in.

I'd love to hear about your follow-up experiences with this. It would be nice to find out that if you put some good wear on it, everything smooths out and gets better, which is my impression of how things go with the Rope Runner generally. (From what I've read, as I'm not yet an owner.)

Thanks in advance for any future reports you choose to provide on this issue.

Tim

So I dropped my runner from 60' today onto concrete pavers. Day five in a row of rain or rain/wind related emergency calls on top of normally scheduled jobs, last job, pouring rain, pulling my rope, didn't see that runner was still on. It rode up to my TIP, and tended cleanly off the end of the line. 6 inches to the right would have put it in the mud.
Shoot dang. I'm so bummed.
