Project truck

Hey everyone i was wondering if i can get help some ideas. I have a 3500 dodge ram turvo diesel extended cab 4x4 1999 model, im trying to make it into a dump truck / gooseneck. My trucks payload is 3500 pounds. Im thinking about installing a flat bed for when i use it for gooseneck uses and when i need it for dump ill put removables walls and doors. IM Trying to beef it up so it can handel a CORD of wood 4000 pounds on top of the flat bed with removeable walls. Please ideas

Scroll down a bit there is a chart on cordwood weights, seasoned and green. Was surprised green spruce (cordwood???) is right at 4K.

Timber jacks question is the key first. With only 3500 pounds it sounds like a single. When “beefing” up a truck to haul more you have to consider so much more than just springs and suspension. The manufacturer has that GVW set because that is the way the truck is designed. Everything works together to get it down the road safely.
You can add air springs to hold the weight better, but now the wheel bearings, brakes and other running gear are not rated for the extra load.

I got an F350 stake/dump with GVW of 13+. I only have @4k of actual payload capacity. The dumps add a bunch of weight. I sit curbside at 9+. Sure I have had 8 or 9k in the bed on occasion, but I would not want to abuse the truck that badly every day. Nor would I honestly want to carry 4k everyday in it. I would like to be about 70% of capacity if I was loaded everyday.
