Their rope inspection guide is baller.I'll start off with.... I'm a noob but I did the same thing to my vortex and at the TCIA conference the dude at Samson booth handed me a brochure with rope inspection criteria complete with examples/pics. At work now so I don't have access but might be on their website? He said as long as it was one strand it was ok but don't take my word. Email Samson to get copy of their tech sheet
Aw.. that's way better worded than mine! Pfffft.I leave the picks on mine as they are, so they're easily inspected, noticed, and not forgotten. Not going to say one way or the other about still climbing on it. I know what I'd do, and it wouldn't be climbing a different length rope tomorrow.
Same thing happened to my Vortex line...I've only had it a short while too!
I still feel safe climbing on it though. The colour has also faded really fast...not to mention the pig tailing....and the stretch ....not complaining, just sayin'...I do love the tensile on this line! Has great hand too!
