ol timer climbers show them pics

No but I've put someone in a Father Nelson
Did you tell the someone to go to sleep as you were doing it..? Throwing in the word bitch a few times..? Or is that a different move I'm thinking of...? How bout a Colombian neck tie ?.. Not even close to a Peruvian necktie from my understanding. I used to fight when I was young and didn't understand the importance of saving my hands.. Now I'm a lover with guns in the safe and an alaskan walrus tusk under my bed. ;)

It is possible to be a lover and a fighter, you know?

I think maybe Manitou. You've been away too long Aaron!

Hey you guys, don't paint all of us old farts with the same brush! I am almost 68 and I love all the new stuff that makes it easier for my old arthritic bones to keep climbing. I especially like the Rope Runner and Hitch Hiker. Those new inventions have made it so much easier to work in the canopy that there simply is no comparison with the old SRT methods that I learned many years ago. My motto is never stop learning, and never stop trying new stuff, even if it is some cocky whippersnapper that is showing it to you.

Arlo if you have any pics and recent or not so recent please grace me with their view. I'm up for anything and don't see how anyone else can mind. Pics old and new are all good.

Here are a couple from last week. I was helping a friend prune limbs from some Doug-firs. SRT on Rope Runner.

Close vet, just not mechanical..It's a hitch climber hes on,with a well dressed short xt hitch. Took a bit of coaxing to get him on that . Man's got some big ol mitts so he likes the full size climb line knot feel he's used to, but he did great with that setup anytime he wanted to go up I'd tend his line to aid him .. Just some light pruning work ..errr fun
