Looking for a chip truck

This looks like a decent truck in seattle, I figure seattle isnt too far away for you....ITE always has quality equipment. Don't quote me but I believe 2007 was the last year of the 6.0, maybe 2006. I have a 2005 6.0 excursion and its been very good to me. Make sure all the mods have been done or at least try to use it as a bargaining chip when purchasing.

If it were me, I'd get a truck with as MUCH capacity as possible. Less trips to dump = equals more time/ $$.
07 was last year in the pickups, they still put them in vans until 11 or 12, not sure on the medium duty trucks.

I am still trying to decide if the F550 size is the best or if bigger would be better for me. Right now it is snowing so somthing with 4wd would be better. Come summer when we are removing some spruce trees bigger would be better. I sure apreciate you all giving me advise and suggestions. It helps a guy consider it from different angles. Will post what I come up with.

4mpg.... farkin' owuch! This one's a prime candidate for a conversion. I know you like the Powerstrokes, but I have a liking for the cummins breed. I love I6's. There plentiful also.

I sold that one, wish I would have keep it for a swap. Don't get me wrong, I'll take a Cummings over a Powerstroke any day. I'm not brand loyal, I just buy what I feel like is the best bang for my buck. I put a Cummins into this guy back when I was a lil younger

I have the M11 cummings in my log truck. Love it. So much power and is so reliable. I read an article about the M14 cummings engine where they stated that engine was going to put them out of business because it was so reliable, it never broke down and people ran the same one for YEARS!! (didn't happen but they were afraid it might)

Must of been a big Job to roll out RV too lol
I was pulling stuff out of the yard to plow the snow.lol. on the other hand I've thought about getting a toy hauler motorhome which has a 8' garage in the rear to haul gear/ possibly the stump grinder, but it would be a running office. With fridge and rest room for the crew. It would be vinyl wrapped which is a giant billboard. .
