WTB Spray Rig & Air Knife/Spade

So, unfortunately I don’t check in here enough to get in on all the great deals when people are selling their gear. So, I thought I’d just let you know what I’m looking for. I’m looking for a larger spray rig, ideally something that will fit in the bed of my F250. I had my eye on the Kings Sprayer 300 gallon SpaceSaver Skid with 15gpm pump w/300’ 1/2” ID hose. They quoted me just under $8k delivered. I’d love to spend half that on something decent that’s used.

Also, I’m planning to buy an AirKnife for a large job that I’ve already sold. If anyone is willing to part with yours for a fair price, I’m in the market. I’ll be buying one before this fall no matter what.

How much pressure do you need? We have a simple, custom built sprayer setup that was built for lawn spraying, but I believe it makes about 300 psi if you turn it up. It is built on a 275 gallon tank. Honda powered pump, with less than 1000 gallons through it, it's just sitting in our shop in the way and we would let it go pretty cheap.

I don’t need much more than 100psi. 90% of my work is soil injection. I’m not spraying tall trees. I’m interested in what you have if you’d be willing to share some pictures I’d appreciate it.

Happy to! I think this would do fine for soil injection, after I sold off my landscape companies years ago the plan was to convert this to a soil injection rig, but we got out of doing plant healthcare treatments. We just don't have the staff to do it, and this thing is taking up far too much space in the shop. I would be happy to have someone else put it to use. Let me know your thoughts, feel free to send a private message if you prefer.

It's a pretty basic setup, but it is quite functional. We were spraying lawns at about 35 psi, so you might have to change some of the low pressure hose to a little bit higher pressure, I don't remember what those black hoses are rated for.

There's 300 feet of 3/8" hose on the reel. And this has all been stored indoors since it was new.

If Reach's doesn't work out and you cannot find another used, could you get by with a smaller pump? For soil you probably only need 150-200 psi max (don't even need that, but good to have the extra space) and 5-10GPM should be plenty. Sprayer Depot is pretty good about customizing rather than saying "this is what you get".

Thanks @ATH. I have been working with Sprayer Depot and they’ve been great. If I pull the trigger with them I know what I want and I’ve already priced it out. I’m not sure that I’m willing to compromise much on something I’m purchasing new. It sounds like @Reach has something that might be worth my time and I’ve been looking for an excuse to drive out to PA and meet him.

I really like the Westheffer company. I use sprayer depot as well sometimes for small parts, but in your situation I think Westheffer might be your better choice with regards to value.....Unless you go with Reach's offer.

More pump (9 GPM/550 PSI max) and more engine (HP) than Reach's VERY good offer for a startup system.

I have been using this Hypro D-30 Pump for over 30 years, and with the ez adjust pressure regulator it comes with in the Model I posted from Westheffer.

The ace roto mold tanks in the above model are good as well.

When Doing Soil Injections and looking for more Fracturing sub soil, 300 PSI working pressure is what I use as the Gold Standard.
