Kentucky - TCC

I will be there. Might have the lady friend with me I'm not sure yet. If so that means I've got a baby sitter to try to keep me in line.

"Do, or do not. There is no 'try'." My guess is that you can't contain the PUClimber.

On a similar note, "You can't stop this bumrush."

You know who I'm talking to...

One week and I will be on the journey to the big city. If it's anything like last year I can't even imagine. Good times were had last year and I'm sure this year will be no different.

Time to give out new names, like last year, and at IL'S TCC last week.

Heres a picture of Wesley and his new name:

TAPEWORM

Will Rockytop be making the journey again? If so someone has to make sure he passes out whether it's bourbon or what does him in we shall see. Tapeworm is a fine name to have. I can't wait till I get a good name.

PS

All climbers need to be at Limbwalker HQ at 6pm on Friday night for gear inspection (901 Dumesnil St, Lou, KY 40203)

For the tech heads, try Google street view to see the shop and Butte, Paul M.'s bedmate for the weekend.

Well, we've been back for about two hours now (Sorry guys that we had to miss the party. There's always next year though!!) and it was great!! Learned a ton of stuff, met a bunch of great people. For my first state comp, it was great!!!

Rick "the Real Deal" Denbeau proved that he is in fact that, THE REAL DEAL !!!! Rick and Jesse both had excellent climbs in that monster Pin Oak, but Rick's sweet throw ball shot and fantastic plan (not to mention the cave man roar)put him on top.

Cormac Nagan was the top out of state competitor and pulled off one hell of an incredible Master climb that left no doubt that he is a force to reckon with in the TCC circuit.

Josie Spagnolo also had an inredible climb and was easily the crowd favorite as she worked the Master tree. She is going to do KY proud in Providence next year.

All in all the Masters climb and the whole event went extremely well and was a ton of fun.

We had a beautiful day in Central park. Due to the short planning period and a number of last second cancellations, there was a real chance of the comp not happening. However, several people stepped up and made this thing happen. I may forget a few people, but I am sending my sincerest thanks to head judges: Wesley (Tapeworm), Charles, Mike, Joey, and Paul (Tree Rat,), Techs: Vince, Tony, Tyler, Tom and Adrian (Ranger Danger), Greg Manning, Stacy, George Bell, Tommy G, Jeff R, and Larry H. Also, Rich H did a great job heading the Masters...But one person really stood out and made this comp happen: Megan (Mrs. Tapeworm???). Megan stayed late Friday night organizing a jumbled mess of paperwork and spent the next day tallying scores and keeping me sane. Thankyou so much, Megan.

Sorry to those who didn't attend and or get to enjoy the following after comp events: 1. a follow-up course from last year, Advanced Graffiti 201 with Paul Mautz, 2. Cuban pig roast with beans and rice and fried plantains, 3. Performing donuts with the Beater, or "can you "drift" in grass with a Minicooper", 4. woodchip Jenga, starring Rick the Real Deal Denbeau, and 5. The gatorade dumps on the champions, also with woodchips.

Wow, what a great time.

Congrats to Rick "The Real Deal" and Josie on their wins.

My partner in crime Tyler PUClimber and I had plenty of festivities for the party goers. We had lots of fun at Ricks expense.

Art work was provided by: WoodlandTC, Climb-N-Cut, Rocky Top, PUClimber, Mrs. Tapeworm, and Myself.

Ranger Danger, you did a great job at your first comp., hope to see you at many more, Thanks for all your help, and Dad too.

Thank you LimbWalkers.

Tyler thanks for hanging out.
