I've seen this so many times on Facebook. The poetry reminds me of a high school homework assignment, delivered in a way that makes me want to puke.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some Jeebus, but you can keep your religion, and this crappy poem, to yourself.

That was cool,I totally understand what hes getting at.But heres what the the book of James says about religion,

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

I believe in Stephen Hawking, myself and my Algonquin elders/ ancestors.

I have no problem with people believing in what they want, but the whole package of organized religion and all the salesman is what bugs me

Re: Get your mind right.

Your not going to be comfortable watching those links if the Holy Spirit Is working on you. Self always wants to rebel against God. I did for 33 years. Had all the same excuses too. You have to be ready for a change and open to truth. Read the word, He said there would be wolves in sheep's clothing. Matthew 7:15 "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves." Jesus the Christ 33ad

Re: Get your mind right.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools,

(Romans 1:18-22 ESV)

Just some food for thought...

Re: Get your mind right.

I have enough self awareness to realize that I am just an individual soul passing through this reality, and I believe that dogma is for zealots.

I worship no one, but I acknowledge the fact that there is a higher power, and that we are simple beings with alot of potential.

Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself. You can't go wrong with that.
