Husqvarna 562xp

I am selling my Husky 562xp. I have had it since the first week in December. It has issue with a hesitation off idle when the saw is warm. I took it back to my dealer and had him plug it in to see if any codes were up. Everything was fine and he said to keep running it. The hesitation issue continued so I called him up again and he basically said there's nothing he can do, everything is up to date, the saw is fine, run it. I called another dealer and basically got blown off since I didn't buy the saw there. So, after being annoyed with the hesitation, and almost no help from the dealer, I'm done with it.

The saw looks close to new. It has a 20" bar. If you can deal with a little hesitation off idle or know how to fix it this will be good saw. $435 including shipping to the lower 48 states.

PayPal is preferred, checks will work.

treehumper this is my second 562. It is a warranty replacement for the first one that self destructed at 11 months old while notching a Norway Spruce. Broken connecting rod, crank, crank case and cylinder. The dealer I took it to screwed me and rebuilt the saw under two warranty claims so that Husqvarna would approve it. I did not know this at the time. It took me 5 months to get the saw back waiting on parts from Sweden. When I got it back it was FILTHY and the kill switch was assembled wrong. The saw lasted 2 1/2 months before it developed an air leak. I took it to another dealer who figured out the warranty crap the other dealer pulled and was very helpful in getting the new saw. The only issue was it took 3 months for him to get it in because Husky will not ship a single saw without massive freight charges to the dealer. He has tried to help me with the new saw but it's not putting up codes and Husky tech support has no good answers. They keep jumping on the Ethanol wagon and saying run premixed Husky fuel at $8 a bottle. I tried it, it doesn't change anything and I don't have an ethanol issue with my fuel.

So basically I'm sick of dealing with 562xp issues. I've owned the saw for 23 1/2 months and 12 1/2 have been dealing with problems. I'm going back to a Stihl MS 362. It might not rage like the 562 but it will work every day I ask it to.

I think there is a thread on AS about that if your looking for some answers. It's a good saw too bad your area dealer support sucks

Thanks Joe, I've done a ton of research on it. I really don't have any desire to get into it. It's a new saw, it should run with no problems. I'm sure a lot of them are great saws, I loved my first one until it came apart. I think at $435 it will be a great saw for someone who wants to mess with it.
