Geezers 2008

GEE, GOOD MORNING

we had snow yesterday, now not your northern type snow, but people here still made it a point to talk about it like it was something out of the ordinary, gee I mean snow in Georgia the peach state.

Now I know that the forecast is for wamth in Windermere,

but will all this age coming down there, are you sure there will not be snow on the roofs there also?

I just might dye the old mop old lady blue.

They are talking about snow here this AM it's cold 30* without the wind chill, They are telling folks it's to cold to go outside, if you have to go out , one reporter said "do like me ,I have 3 pair of pants on and 4 shirts."

Toooooooooo coldddddddddddddd for work today, 80's back by Sat. thank God Amen.

How funny, my happy birthday wish to Scotty was post number 666 on this thread.

Scotty, did the local news actually say don't go outside because it is 30 degrees? That's hilarious. Kind of the same thing happens here when it snows...the local Fox News channel goes on hyper-drive, and send all of the junior reporters out to overpasses to keep an eye on ice accumulation.

Bad news for this morning is my boss isn't coming to the Geezers. I blame myself for not getting him more excited and out practicing. Oh well, at least Morice is coming, and you all can finally meet my right hand man.

Plus 1... how did those age brackets work again?

Plus one more........

And another one...

How do the brackets work? Remember that I can only pluck one string... Need time to reconfigure the program, so some heads up would be appreciated. If not, then lots of red-bulls and vodkas to keep me up Friday night on the computer.

UL,
Please share this friend who makes this wonderful instrument. One string seems a lot easier than others and of course it so American!!!!!!!!!!!! That's right somebody said America. I would be interested in seeing this canjoe and purchasing one or making one.

His name is John, "canjoe john" and he can be seen in the attached file or at www.canjoe.com.

I'm not as good as he, but they are fun to play.

Scotty-

Just to be clear.....is there room on a floor inside of your house to blow up my air mattress for Carmen and I to sleep on?

John also wanted to know if he could sleep inside, but I would be just as happy if he didn't.

Also, Scotty, what flavor Heartwood shirt do you want for your birthday?
