Fu*%face Von Clownstick

Kinda like the akimbo, the suspense is killing me. Time to put the axe down, if not sooner than later the backlash will be something to reckon with.
I have two backup plans.
1 Canada
2 run to Rico nudge his hand and jump on his lap. And ask him to protect me.
I don't know if I can protect you Evo, but your always welcome to sit on my lap. You can tell me what you want for Christmas, or we could talk about the 1st thing that pops up?

Wanna place some bets? I like how you roll, now our Georgia buddy, you know the one, felling trees from 10' up on gaffs, and creating barber-chairs as the new fandangled innovation like we all should look up to him and kiss ass. We anyway I've been inviting Georgia boy to P-Town for quite the tour on Vaseline alley, for a bit of a new perspective on life. Not really challenging hetro, but every damn time he gets all squirmy.

Not like you my friend, one who is confident in ones skills, self, and knows the difference between play and work. Work is something you quit once it ceases to be fun, and play you never ever give up.

Well, Senator Chris Murphy is clearly a true progressive. His math has each of his 500 new public schools costing $24,000,000. Huh. No biggie. It’s just other people’s money.

And apparently he thinks a year of college costs $12,000. It cost me more than that 20 years ago.

Anyway it’s just so weird to see leftists complaining about the government confiscating and redistributing wealth. And why would giving the money to public schools be more noble than giving it to farmers? The government shouldn’t be in the business of passing out other people’s money – period.

So, you turned down that free, public school education because you don't want taxpayer money being redistributed for children's education?

Here in rural Nebraska, the last school built in the area cost $11 million... I would think it would be a lot higher in more populated areas, but I don't know. He didn't say if he was talking about tech schools, community colleges, state colleges or private... but $12,000/year is about right for a community college, around here. The wife did another year at SCC for about $8K a few years back.

Children generally don't vote... farmers do. But if you think welfare for corporate farm millionaires is as noble as educating our children, I'm happy for you. As you say, it's other people's money and we don't need highways or paved streets or an education... you can just ride a donkey around and double the number of jackasses in town.

Every reasonable adult understands that taxes are necessary and are properly spent on many things, including education and roads. In contrast, this 12 billion seems to be a direct transfer/payoff. It’s as wrong now as it would be if Obama did it.

But it’s still interesting to me that it’s not the corrupt system that seems to bother you.... it’s who gets the money.

Nahh, your reading too much into it. We love farmers. We love kids.. The farmers wouldn't need the bailout if the trade disputes never happened. The kids need schools and education regardless of poor policy.
Yes we need taxes, roads, public heath, universal heath care, education, disablity and SSI... Stupid things like the military budget etc, we can easily do without (or severely reduced)

Then we have misunderstood each other...

The corrupt nature of "buying off" farmers in the corn/bean belt is, indeed the big issue, because he's only trying to not lose his biggest group of supporters. But, neither I nor Mr. Murphy are suggesting that it's only wrong because he's giving it to farmers as opposed to anyone else... that if he hadn't given a huge tax cut to the extra-wealthy and started a trade war, we could be financing the kinds of things on his list.

EDIT: I see evo already jumped in there with this.

Sad thing is, corporate farm operations with more than 40,000 acres will get nearly all of it.
Truth.. Corporate bailouts... But now that they have the same rights, and more rights than citizens they need more than their fair share of socialism. You know, they never file for unemployment, SSI, Obamacare, Medicare, or any of that other crap. They certainly are entitled to a few bailouts for being so unburden-some on our society

What do you know. Donny knew in advance about the Trump Tower Meeting with Russians. He was informed about the meeting by Jr., and Donny gave his approval. Imagine that.

Curious: GDP numbers revealed tomorrow at 8:30 am. If they hit 5.3% not only will they be something Obama said would never happen again, but was literally impossible. Also, at 5.3% they would be the best in 15 years.

Does this matter at all? Are we actually rooting for smaller GDP if it hurts Trump? (Realizing of course that GDP measures the output/health of the entire economy, not just the rich.)

Meh.

Cohen’s a liar. Professionally. Not a great witness. And by “professional liar” I mean “lawyer”.

Anyway, who cares if he did know about the meeting? Russians claimed to have dirt on Hillary. Trump wanted dirt. Who cares? If something is true, is not the source immaterial?

Hey Buck, Lets drop this whole Hillary thing shall we? This thread isn't all pro Hillary. Being anti tRump doesn't automatically make one by default Pro Clinton.
I did circle her little button and vomited in my mouth as I did so, I can still taste it. However I really, really, really did not want trump. I made my choice and don't regret it, however I'm not proud that I felt I had to stoop to that level, but I knew tRump was a asshole I didn't want in office.
In the end it didn't matter, he's still in office and I will be f-en vocal about it it. But, it doesn't mean I'm pro clinton.

We’re similar then. But this “revelation” that he knew about the Russian meeting isn’t much. But the meeting was all about dirt on Hillary. That’s all.

Ehh, Haven't followed that... Are we talking about the private meeting where no reporters were allowed? If so I wont believe anything out of either of their mouths.

Corporate welfare system has always bothered me

Back in '72 I made myself persona non grata with the ag students on my dorm floor..loggers too...when they were complaining about the City Folks getting welfare and not working. I asked them about crop subsidies, the Forest Service building roads, for free, so they could log inaccessible plots and filling their cars with 'tractor gas' that was exempt from road taxes. They all got real interested in their shoelaces and cuticles. If you don't like welfare...you can't like corporate or social welfare. Be consistent.
